With all the Mommy craziness going on in my household right about now, just thought I would sit down and share this cute little birthday cake I made for a little Miss Adalida. Is that not just the most adorable name ever!?
I was absolutely excited to be doing my first Hawaiian themed birthday cake. And then they asked for a grass skirt and I was even more excited! Going in I honestly had no idea how I was going to accomplish the skirt on the bottom. I always love trying new things. But really it's such a simple concept to just roll out some green fondant, and cut some lines in there. I'm also pretty happy to finally own some funky letter cutters.
It seems like little Miss Adalida loved the cake just as much as I did. Hope everyone is having a great week!
